It comes as a tablet and capsule to take by mouth with or without food.
Children: 3 to 6 mg/kg/day in 2 to 3 divided doses of iron.

Dosage & When it is to be taken
Adults: Ferrous Sulphate- 200- 600 mg daily. Ferrous Gluconate- 300- 120 mg daily. Ferrous fumarate- 100-300 mg daily.Children: 3 to 6 mg/kg/day in 2 to 3 divided doses of iron.
When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)
