How to Take Lubiprostone and it's Dose

It comes as a capsule, to take by mouth, with food.

Dosage & When it is to be taken

The recommended dose is 24 mcg twice daily orally with food and water.

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)

Contraindicated in patients with gastrointestinal obstruction, and hypersensitivity.

Drug Name : Lubiprostone

This medication is a chloride channel activator, prescribed for chronic constipation and irritable bowel syndrome.
