How to Take Levoleucovorin and it's Dose


It comes as a solution for injection, to be administered by a healthcare provider into the vein.

Dosage & When it is to be taken

High-Dose Methotrexate in Osteosarcoma- 10 mg/sq.meter IV q6hr starting 24 hr after methotrexate
Coadministration with Trimetrexate- 20 mg/sq.meter IV/PO q6hr (for PO, round dose up to next 25 mg increment)
Colorectal CA- Recommended 20 mg/sq.meter IV followed by 425 mg/sq.meter fluorouracil.

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)

Hypersensitivity.
