How to Take Leucovorin and it's Dose

It comes as a solution for injection to be administered by a healthcare provider into the vein or muscle. It also comes as a tablet to take by mouth.

Dosage & When it is to be taken

IM/IV/PO- The recommended dose is 15 mg (10 mg/m²) every 6 hours.

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)

Contraindicated in patients with anemia (B12 deficiency) and hypersensitivity.

Drug Name : Leucovorin

This medication is a folic acid analog, prescribed for reducing the toxic effects of methotrexate.
