How to Take Emtricitabine- Tenofovir and it's Dose

It comes as a tablet to take by mouth, with or without food.

Dosage & When it is to be taken

One tablet (containing 200 mg of emtricitabine and 300 mg of tenofovir disoproxil fumarate) once daily taken orally.

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)

♦It should not be used in individuals with unknown or positive HIV-1 status.

Drug Name : Emtricitabine- Tenofovir

This combination medication contains 2 reverse transcriptase inhibitors, prescribed for HIV infection in adults and pediatric patients 12 years of age and older.
