How to Take Dolasetron Mesylate Injection and it's Dose

It comes as a solution for injection, to be administered by a healthcare provider into the vein.

Dosage & When it is to be taken

Adults- IV- The recommended dose is 1.8 mg/kg given as a single dose approximately 30 minutes before chemotherapy.

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)

Hypersensitivity.

This medication is a serotonin 5-HT3 receptor antagonist, prescribed for the prevention of nausea and vomiting associated with chemotherapy.
