It comes as a tablet to take by mouth, with food.

Dosage & When it is to be taken

Adult: PO- The recommended dose is 500 mg 3 times/day for 10 days. May repeat course if needed.

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)

Hypersensitivity.

Drug Name : Diloxanide

This medication is an anti-protozoal agent, prescribed for intestinal amoebiasis.
