How to Take Cidofovir and it's Dose

It comes as a solution for injection to be administered by a healthcare provider into the vein.

Dosage & When it is to be taken

IV- Induction- The recommended induction dose is 5 mg/kg body weight administered once weekly for two consecutive weeks. Maintenance- 5mg/kg/body weight.

Drug Name : Cidofovir

This medication is an antiviral agent, prescribed for cytomegalovirus(CMV) infection in HIV/AIDS patients.
