How to Take Chlorpheniramine and Phenylpropanolamine and it's Dose


It comes as a tablet and syrup to take by mouth, with food.

Dosage & When it is to be taken

Adults and children > 12 years: 1 capsule every 12 hours or 5-10 mL every 3-4 hours.
Children <12 years: 5 mL every 3-4 hours.

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)

Contraindicated in patients with hemorrhagic stroke (bleeding within the brain) and hypersensitivity.

Drug Name : Chlorpheniramine and Phenylpropanolamine

This combination medication contains antihistamine and decongestant, prescribed for nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, itchy nose or throat and itchy or watery eyes due to the common cold or allergic rhinitis.
