How to Take Cefotaxime and it's Dose

It comes as a solution for injection to be administered by a healthcare provider into the vein or muscle.

Dosage & When it is to be taken

Adult: IV/IM - The recommended dose is 1-2 g 4-12 hourly. Max: 12 g/day.

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)

Hypersensitivity.

Drug Name : Cefotaxime

This medication is a cephalosporin antibiotic, prescribed for certain types of bacterial infections such as lower respiratory tract infections, pelvic inflammatory disease, endometritis, skin and skin structure infections, and others.
