It comes as a capsule to take by mouth, with food.

Dosage & When it is to be taken

Adult: PO- The recommended dose is 0.5-1 g/day in divided doses.

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)

It should not be administered during the first trimester of pregnancy. Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity.
