How to Take Belatacept and it's Dose


It comes as a powder for injection (diluted with fluid), to be administered by a healthcare provider into the vein.

Dosage & When it is to be taken

IV- Initial phase dosing: 10 mg/kg on day of transplant (prior to implantation); repeat this dose on Day 5 and at end of Weeks 2, 4, 8, and 12 after transplantation.

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)

Contraindicated in patients who are Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV) seronegative or with unknown EBV serostatus and hypersensitivity.
