How it should be taken
It comes as a nasal spray to be sprayed into the nose, as directed by your physician.

The recommended dose is 137 mcg/50 mcg, 1 spray per nostril twice daily.

Why it is prescribed (Indications)
This combination medication contains antihistamine-corticosteroid, prescribed for seasonal allergic rhinitis (SAR). It works by blocking histamine and release of substances in the body that cause inflammation.
Category C :
Animal reproduction studies have shown an adverse effect on the fetus and there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in humans, but potential benefits may warrant use of the drug in pregnant women despite potential risks.
Warnings and Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with history of infections, chickenpox or measles, vision problems, increased eye pressure, any allergy, who are taking other medications, elderly, children, during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
It may cause sleepiness or drowsiness, do not drive a car or operate machinery while taking this medication.
Avoid alcohol consumption.
Store it at controlled room temperature (20° - 25°C). Protect from light. Do not store in the freezer or refrigerator.
