How it should be taken
It comes as a tablet to take by mouth, on an empty stomach.
Dosage & When it is to be taken
Adult: PO- The recommended dose is 10 mg once daily.
When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)
Contraindicated in patients with bruising.
Why it is prescribed (Indications)
This medication is an antihistamine, prescribed for allergic rhinitis and chronic idiopathic urticaria.

Animal reproduction studies have shown an adverse effect on the fetus and there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in humans, but potential benefits may warrant use of the drug in pregnant women despite potential risks.
Warnings and Precautions
Avoid excess dosage; otherwise it may cause severe heart problem.
Caution should be exercised in patients with history of prostate enlargement, urinary retention, increased eye pressure, intestinal obstruction, liver diseases, epilepsy, children, elderly, during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Store it at room temperature (15°- 30°C).
