How it should be taken
It comes as a red colored solution for injection to be administered by a healthcare provider into the vein.
Dosage & When it is to be taken
IV- Adult: Induction: 90 mg/m2
/day for 5-8 days, may increase to 120 mg/m2
When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)
Warnings and Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with liver or kidney diseases, with low levels of potassium in their blood, who have already had treatment with other types of anticancer medications, during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Monitor complete blood counts, electrolyte for each treatment, heart, liver, kidney and CNS function regularly.
Not to be used in people with a severe reduction in blood cell production by the bone marrow.
This medicine is not recommended for children under 12 years old.
