Physiology :


Bromism may be suspected in the presence of a history of ingestion of proprietary bromide preparations, fever, skin rash and neurologic symptoms.

Normal Values :


<20 mg/L (<2.5 mmol/L)

Critical Values :


> 120 mg /dL (>15 mmol/L)
