International- Hivid. This medication is a nucleoside analog reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NARTI), prescribed for HIV infection. When it is not to be taken (Contraindications):
When it is to be taken : PO- The recommended regimen is one 0.750 mg tablet 3 times per day. How it should be taken : It comes as a tablet to take by mouth, on an empty stomach. Special Instruction : * Caution should be exercised in patients with history of nervous disease, heart or liver disease, hepatitis B, kidney problems, diabetes, AIDS, high cholesterol, inflammation of the pancreas, who are taking other medications, any allergy, during pregnancy and breastfeeding. * It dose not stop the spread of infection to others’, avoid sexual contact with others. Side Effects : Central Nervous System - Fatigue, headache, convulsions, nerve disease, depression. Gastrointestinal - Abdominal pain, vomiting, nausea, diarrhea, constipation. Skin - Rash, itching and hives. Miscellaneous - Fever, mouth ulcer, abnormal liver function, inflammation of pancreas, joint pain. *Avoid excess dosage. Storage Conditions : Store it at controlled room temperature ((15° to 30°C). |
