International- Cerumenex. This medication is an emulsion, prescribed for removal of earwax before ear examination. When it is not to be taken (Contraindications):
When it is to be taken : Fill ear canal with this medication and allow it to remain for 15-30 minutes. Then gently flush with lukewarm water. How it should be taken : It comes as eardrops, to instill into ear canal. Special Instruction : * Caution should be exercised in patients with history of any allergy, during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Side Effects : Redness, itching, rash, skin ulcerations, burning and pain. * Avoid excess dosage. Storage Conditions : Store it at controlled room temperature (15-30°C), away from heat, light, and moisture. |
