India- Lupitors, Optrvo, Travatan. International- Travatan Z. This medication is a synthetic prostaglandin F analogue, prescribed for open angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. When it is not to be taken (Contraindications):
When it is to be taken : Ophthalmic- Instill one drop into the affected eye(s) once daily in the evening. How it should be taken : It comes as eye drops to instill into the affected eyes as directed by your physician. Special Instruction : * Caution should be exercised in patients with other types of glaucoma (narrow-angle, neovascular), inflammation in the eye, who ever using lens, any allergy, during children, pregnancy and breastfeeding. * It may cause blurred vision or sensitive to light, do not drive a car or operate machinery while taking this medication. * Monitor eye pressure regularly while taking this medication. Side Effects : Ocular(Eye) - Abnormal vision, cataract, conjunctivitis and inflammation of eyelid. Non-Ocular - Allergy, anxiety, back pain, depression, headache, gastrointestinal disorders, hypertension and urinary tract infections. * Avoid excess dosage. Storage Conditions : Store it at 2° - 25°C. |
