International- Skelid. This medication is a bisphosphonate, prescribed for Paget disease. When it is not to be taken (Contraindications):
When it is to be taken : PO- The recommended dose is 400-mg once daily. How it should be taken : It comes as a tablet to take by mouth, without food. Special Instruction : * Caution should be exercised in patients with history of kidney disease, heartburn, chest pain, low blood calcium levels, esophagus problems, who are taking other medications, any allergy, during pregnancy and breastfeeding. * It may cause drowsiness, do not drive a car or operate machinery and get up slowly fro bed while taking this medication. * Avoid alcohol consumption and smoking while taking this medication. Side Effects : Body As a Whole - Pain, back pain, accidental injury, influenza-like symptoms, chest pain, swelling in the extremities. Heart - Fluid accumulation. Central Nervous System - Headache, dizziness, tingling. , Gastrointestinal - Diarrhea, nausea, indigestion, vomiting, flatulence, tooth disorder. Metabolic - Vitamin D deficiency. Musculoskeletal - Joint pain. Respiratory - Runny nose, upper respiratory tract infection, coughing, inflammation of pharynx. Skin - Rash. Eye and ENT - Cataract, eye inflammation, increased eye pressure. * Avoid excess dosage. Storage Conditions : Store it at 25°C. |
