This medication is an antihistamine, prescribed for allergic reactions such as runny nose, sneezing, throat irritation, red, irritated, itchy and tearing eyes. It blocks histamine action, which reduces allergy symptoms.
Contraindicated in patients who are taking antifungal drugs, ulcer drugs, antibiotics and hypersensitivity.
One tablet (60 mg) twice daily for adults and pediatric patients 12 years and older.
It comes as a tablet to take by mouth, with food.
Caution should be exercised in patients with history asthma, lung disease, urinary retention, enlarged prostate, kidney or liver disease, heart disease, any allergy, who are taking other medications, during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
It may cause dizziness or drowsiness, do not drive a car or operate machinery while taking this medication.
Avoid alcohol consumption.
Central Nervous System :
Drowsiness, headache, fatigue, dizziness, nervousness, weakness and increased appetite.
Gastrointestinal : Abdominal distress, nausea and vomiting.
ENT : Dry mouth, sore throat, cough and nosebleed.
Skin : Rash, hives and itching.
Avoid excess dosage.
Store it at controlled room temperature (15-30ï¿½C).
