International- Miraluma. This medication is a radioactive pharmaceutical agent, prescribed for detecting coronary artery disease and breast lesions. When it is to be taken : For Myocardial Imaging- IV- The recommended dose is 370-1110 MBq (10-30 mCi). For Breast Imaging- The recommended dose is 740-1110 MBq (20 - 30 mCi). How it should be taken : It comes as a solution for injection, to be administered by a healthcare provider into the vein. Special Instruction : * It should be administered only by well-trained qualified physicians. * Caution should be exercised in patients with history of kidney or liver disease, elderly, children, during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Side Effects : Joint inflammation, angioedema, abnormal heart rhythm, dizziness, fainting, abdominal pain, nausea, headache, vomiting, and severe hypersensitivity characterized by difficulty in breathing, low blood pressure, slow heart rate, weakness, and vomiting. * Avoid excess dosage. Storage Conditions : Store at 15-25°C. |
