International- Vasocidin. This medication is an antibacterial and corticosteroid combination, prescribed for eye inflammation. When it is not to be taken (Contraindications):
When it is to be taken : Ophthalmic- Instill two drops in the eye(s) every four hours. How it should be taken : It comes as eye drops to instill into the affected eyes, as directed by your physician. Special Instruction : * Caution should be exercised in patients with history of thinning of the eye tissues, increased eye pressure, cataract, nerve damage, severe dry eyes, or diabetes, recently had cataract surgery, any allergy, children less than 6 years old, during pregnancy and breastfeeding. * It may cause blurred vision, do not drive a car or operate machinery while taking this medication. * Avoid long-term use of this medication; otherwise it may cause secondary infection. Side Effects : Increased eye pressure, optic nerve damage, and delayed wound healing. * Avoid excess dosage. Storage Conditions : Store it at controlled room temperature (15° to 30°C). |
