International- PrismaSol Solution. This medication is a sterile solution, used in continuous renal replacement therapies (CRRT) as a replacement solution. When it is not to be taken (Contraindications):
When it is to be taken : IV- Adult and adolescents: 500 - 3000 ml/hour. Children: 15 - 35 ml/kg/hour. How it should be taken : It comes as a solution for injection, to be administered by a healthcare provider into the vein. Special Instruction : * Caution should be exercised in patients with history of any allergy, during pregnancy and breastfeeding. * Monitor hemodynamic status, fluid balance, electrolyte and acid-base balance, phosphate concentration, body temperature, serum potassium levels regularly while taking this medication. Side Effects : Disturbances in electrolyte, acid-base and glucose balance. * Avoid excess dosage. Storage Conditions : Store at 25°C. |
