India- Ensamycin Cream, Ensamycin Eye Drops, Sisocin Eye Drops, Sisocin Skin Cream, Sisoptin Inj. This medication is an aminoglycoside antibiotic, prescribed for conjunctivitis, keratitis, blepharitis and other bacterial infections. When it is not to be taken (Contraindications):
When it is to be taken : Adult: IM- Susceptible infections- 3 mg/kg/day in 2-3 divided doses. Ophthalmic- Instill one or two drops into the affected eyes as directed by your physician. Tpical-As 0.1% cream: Apply twice daily. How it should be taken : It comes as eye drops and cream, to instill into the affected eye and to apply over the affected area respectively. It also comes as a solution for injection to be administered by a healthcare provider into a large muscle. Special Instruction : * Caution should be exercised in patients with liver and kidney impairment, Parkinson’s disease, myasthenia gravis, children, elderly, during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Side Effects : Severe effects - Ear, kidney and brain damage. Common effects - Diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, redness and pain at injection site, dizziness and allergic reactions. *Avoid excess dosage. Storage Conditions : Store it at room temperature. |
