India- Selsun, Topsun, Senee. This medication is an anti-infective agent, prescribed for tinea versicolor, seborrheic dermatitis of scalp and treatment of dandruff. When it is not to be taken (Contraindications):
When it is to be taken : Topical- Apply over the affected areas and lather with a small amount of water. Allow product to remain on skin for 10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. Repeat procedure once a day for 7 days. How it should be taken : It comes as a lotion to apply topically as directed by your physician. Special Instruction : * Caution needed for pregnant and breastfeeding women. * Remove all jewelry; selenium sulfide may damage it. * Do not use this medication if your scalp is cut or scratched. * Stop using the lotion and contact your doctor if your condition worsens. Side Effects : Scalp irritation, oiliness or dryness of hair and scalp, hair loss and hair discoloration. * Rinse your hair thoroughly after treatment. Storage Conditions : Store it at room temperature (30°C). |
