International- Betadine and Pharmadine. This medication is an antiseptic combination, prescribed for minor wounds and infections, as well as killing bacteria. When it is not to be taken (Contraindications):
When it is to be taken : Adult: Mouth/Throat Oral hygiene- As 0.1% solution: Rinse mouth with 10 ml undiluted solution or diluted with an equal amount of water 4 times/day for 14 days. Cream- Apply a small amount of this cream to the affected area. How it should be taken : It comes as a liquid to rinse your mouth. It also comes as a cream to apply over the affected area as directed by your physician. Special Instruction : * Caution should be exercised in patients with history of serious burns or deep puncture wounds, any allergy, during pregnancy and breastfeeding. * Avoid contact with eyes. * Stop treatment if redness, irritation or swelling develops. Side Effects : Severe allergic reactions such as if redness, irritation or swelling in application site. * It should not be used under occlusive dressing. Storage Conditions : Store it at room temperature. |
