Why it is prescribed (Indications) : 
This medication is an antiseptic combination, prescribed for minor wounds and infections, as well as killing bacteria.

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications): 


Hypersensitivity.

Category D : There is positive evidence of human fetal risk based on adverse reaction data from investigational or marketing experience or studies in humans, but potential benefits may warrant use of the drug in pregnant women despite potential risks.


When it is to be taken : 
Adult: Mouth/Throat Oral hygiene- As 0.1% solution: Rinse mouth with 10 ml undiluted solution or diluted with an equal amount of water 4 times/day for 14 days.
Cream- Apply a small amount of this cream to the affected area.
How it should be taken : 
It comes as a liquid to rinse your mouth.
It also comes as a cream to apply over the affected area as directed by your physician.
Special Instruction : 
* Caution should be exercised in patients with history of serious burns or deep puncture wounds, any allergy, during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
* Avoid contact with eyes.
* Stop treatment if redness, irritation or swelling develops.
Side Effects : 
Severe allergic reactions such as if redness, irritation or swelling in application site.
Other Precautions : 
* It should not be used under occlusive dressing.
Storage Conditions : 
Store it at room temperature.
