When it is to be taken : The initial recommended dose is 2.5 mL/kg birth weight. How it should be taken : It comes as a suspension for intratracheal administration. Special Instruction : * Frequent clinical and laboratory assessments should be given to infants while using this medication. * Trained and experienced healthcare professionals should only administer it. * Patient should be treated for anemia, low sugar and chills before the start of the treatment. Side Effects : Complication of premature babies- Slow heart rate, low blood pressure, respiratory blockage and shortness of breath. Miscellaneous- Pneumonia, stroke, respiratory tract inflammation/infection, sepsis and congenital heart disorder. *Avoid excess dosage. Storage Conditions : Store it in refrigerator (2 to 8°C); Do not freeze it. |
