This medication is a guanine analogue antiviral drug, prescribed for recurrent herpes labialis (cold sores). It prevents the herpes simplex virus from growing. When it is not to be taken (Contraindications): Hypersensitivity.

Topical- Apply a thin film every 2 hours. How it should be taken :
