Why it is prescribed (Indications) : 
This medication is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), prescribed for giardiasis and lupus erythematosus.

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications): 


Hypersensitivity and psoriasis.


When it is to be taken : 
Adult: PO- The recommended dose is 100 mg 3 times/day for 5-7 days.
How it should be taken : 
It comes as a tablet to take by mouth, with food.
Special Instruction : 
* Caution should be exercised in patients with history of psychosis, liver disease, blood disorder, elderly, during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Side Effects : 
Central Nervous System - Dizziness, headache, central nervous system stimulation and epilepsy.
Gastrointestinal - Nausea and vomiting.
Skin - Discoloration of the skin, blue-black discolouration of the palate and nails.
Rarely - Liver toxicity and anemia.
Other Precautions : 
* Avoid excess dosage.
Storage Conditions : 
Store it between (15 - 30°C).
