When it is to be taken : SC- The recommended dose is 90 mg, at 4-week intervals for 3 months. How it should be taken : It comes as a solution for injection, to be administered by a healthcare provider under the skin. Special Instruction : * Caution should be exercised in patients with history of gallstones, kidney or liver impairment, thyroid problems, heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, who are taking other medications, any allergy, children, during pregnancy and breastfeeding. * It may affect blood sugar level; monitor sugar level closely. * Monitor growth hormone levels and thyroid function regularly while taking this medication. Side Effects : Gastrointestinal - Diarrhea, abdominal pain, nausea, constipation, flatulence, vomiting and loose stools. Musculoskeletal - Joint pain. Miscellaneous - Headache, gallstone, injection site pain. * Avoid excess dosage. Storage Conditions : Store it in refrigerator (2°C to 8°C). |
