This medication is an adrenocortical steroid, prescribed for certain skin diseases. It reduces the swelling, itching, and redness that can occur in such skin conditions.
Gently apply over the affected area as a thin film from 1 to 4 times daily, depending on the severity of the condition.
It comes as an ointment, cream and lotion to apply topically.
• Caution should be exercised in patients with history of diabetes, increased eye pressure, cataracts, poor blood circulation, immune disorder, any allergy, who are taking other medications, elderly, children, during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
• For external use only, avoid contact with eyes or mouth.
• It may affect the growth of children, extreme caution is required.
Burning, itching, irritation, dryness, inflammation of hair follicles, abnormal hair growth, acne, pigmentation, skin infections and allergic reactions.
Avoid excess dosage.
Store it at controlled room temperature 15 - 30Â°C.
