Why it is prescribed (Indications) : 
This medication is an adrenocortical steroid, prescribed for certain skin diseases.

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications): 


Hypersensitivity.

Category C : Animal reproduction studies have shown an adverse effect on the fetus and there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in humans, but potential benefits may warrant use of the drug in pregnant women despite potential risks.


When it is to be taken : 
Gently apply over the affected area as a thin film from 1 to 4 times daily, depending on the severity of the condition.
How it should be taken : 
It comes as an ointment, cream and lotion to apply topically.
Special Instruction : 
* Caution should be exercised in patients with history of diabetes, increased eye pressure, cataracts, poor blood circulation, immune disorder, any allergy, who are taking other medications, elderly, children, during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
* For external use only, avoid contact with eyes or mouth.
* It may affect the growth of children, extreme caution is required.
Side Effects : 
Burning, itching, irritation, dryness, inflammation of hair follicles, abnormal hair growth, acne, pigmentation, skin infections and allergic reactions.
Other Precautions : 
* Avoid excess dosage.
Storage Conditions : 
Store it at controlled room temperature 15 - 30°C.
