Why it is prescribed (Indications) : This medication is an antispasmodic, prescribed for pain and dysfunction caused by smooth muscle spasm. When it is not to be taken (Contraindications): Contraindicated in patients with severe heart, liver, and kidney disease.
Dosage & When it is to be taken : Adult: PO- The recommended dose is 40-80 mg 3 times/day. How it should be taken : It comes as a tablet to take by mouth, with or without food. Warnings and Precautions : * Caution should be exercised in patients with heart/liver/kidney disease, during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Side Effects : Fainting, nausea, vomiting and dry mouth. *Take full course of treatment. Storage Conditions : Store it at room temperature. |
