This medication is a tranquilizer (dopamine receptor antagonism), prescribed for nausea and vomiting. It is also used for anesthesia and sedation in intensive-care treatment.

When should Droperidol not be taken? (Contraindications)

Contraindicated in patients with known or suspected QT prolongation, bone marrow suppression, coma and hypersensitivity.
