This medication is antiarrhythmic, prescribed for atrial fibrillation and reducing the risk of hospitalization for this condition. It helps the heart to beat normally.

When should Dronedarone not be taken? (Contraindications)

Contraindicated in patients with severe liver problem, irregular heart beat, heart block, heart failure, and hypersensitivity.

PO- The only recommended dosage is 400 mg twice daily in adults.
