When it is to be taken : IM- The recommended dose is 0.5 ml for administration at 2, 4, and 6 months of age, at intervals of six to eight weeks, with a fourth dose given at 15-20 months of age. How it should be taken : It comes as a solution for injection to be administered by a healthcare provider into a large muscle. Special Instruction : * Caution should be exercised in patients with history of bleeding disorder, cancer, HIV, seizures, fever over 105o F. Side Effects : Mild fever, redness, pain, tenderness, swelling at injection site, tiredness, nausea and vomiting. *Avoid excess dosage. Storage Conditions : Store it in refrigerator (2-8o C), do not freeze it. |
