Why it is prescribed (Indications) : 
This medication is an emollient, prescribed for pediculosis, and other skin conditions.

When it is to be taken : 
Adult: Topical- Head pediculosis- As 4% solution: Apply as directed. Skin protectant- As 22% cream: With benzalkonium Cl: Apply several times/day as needed.
How it should be taken : 
It comes as a solution, cream to apply topically as directed by your physician.
Special Instruction : 
* For external use only, avoid contact with eyes, nose and mouth.
Side Effects : 
Rarely, redness, pain and irritation at the site of application.
Storage Conditions : 
Store it at room temperature.
