This medication is an antifungal agent, prescribed for skin infections such as athlete's foot, jock itch and ringworm. This medication inhibits fungal growth. When it is not to be taken (Contraindications):
When it is to be taken : Adult: Topical- As 3% cream/ointment: Apply 2-4 times/day. Duration: Athlete's foot: 4 week and jock itch: 2 week. How it should be taken : Apply this cream two or three times a day for four weeks as directed by your physician. Special Instruction : * Caution needed for pregnant and breastfeeding women and who have undergone thyroid test. * For external use only; avoid contact with eyes or mouth. * Avoid using bandages or dressings after applying this cream into the affected area. Side Effects : Unusual or severe blistering, itching, redness, peeling, dryness, swelling and irritation of the skin. * If the infection persists or worsens, consult with your doctor. Storage Conditions : Store it at room temperature and in an airtight container. Keep away from children. Protect it from light. |
