International- Trilisate. This medication is a a type of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), prescribed for rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and acute shoulder pain. When it is not to be taken (Contraindications):
When it is to be taken : Adult- PO- The recommended starting dosage is 1500 mg two times per day. How it should be taken : It comes as a tablet to take by mouth, with food. Special Instruction : * Caution should be exercised in patients with history of stomach problems, ulcers, fever, nasal polyps, stroke, vitamin K deficiency, chickenpox, blood-clotting problems, liver or kidney impairment, who are taking other medications, any allergy, during pregnancy and breastfeeding. * It may cause drowsiness or dizziness, do not drive a car or operate machinery while taking this medication. * Avoid alcohol consumption; otherwise it may lead to stomach bleeding. Side Effects : Gastrointestinal - Nausea, vomiting, stomach upset, indigestion, heartburn, diarrhea, constipation and stomach pain. Central Nervous System - Hearing impairment, headache, lightheadedness, dizziness, drowsiness, and lethargy. Miscellaneous - Liver inflammation, asthma, inflammation of the esophagus. * Avoid excess dosage. Storage Conditions : Store it at controlled room temperature ( 15° to 30°C). |
