Why it is prescribed (Indications) : This medication is an antimicrobial agent, prescribed as a antiseptic and disinfectant.

Category C : Animal reproduction studies have shown an adverse effect on the fetus and there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in humans, but potential benefits may warrant use of the drug in pregnant women despite potential risks.


When it is to be taken : Use as directed by your physician.
How it should be taken : It comes as a liquid, cream, and soap to apply topically as directed by your physician.
Special Instruction : 
* Caution needed in pregnant and breast-feeding women.
* For external use only; avoid contact with your eyes and mouth.
* Avoid use on brain meninges, middle ear & other sensitive tissues.
* Aqueous solution should be freshly prepared at recommended concentration and appropriate measures must be taken to prevent contamination.
Side Effects : 
Irritation of eye and other sensitive tissues.

* Wash your hands thoroughly after using this liquid.
Storage Conditions : 
Store it at room temperature (25°C).
