Why it is prescribed (Indications) : 
This medication is a prodrug of terbutaline, prescribed for chronic bronchial asthma. It relaxes airway muscles that results in easy breathing.
When it is not to be taken (Contraindications): 
Contraindicated in people with severe liver impairment; pregnancy and hypersensitivity.

Dosage & When it is to be taken : 
PO: Initially 10 mg at bedtime, increased if necessary to 20 mg once daily.
How it should be taken : 
It comes as a tablet to take by mouth, with or without food.
Warnings and Precautions : 
* Caution should be exercised in patients with history of diabetes, thyroid disease, high blood pressure, heart disease and during lactation.
Side Effects : 
Most Common- Tremor, nervousness, tension, headache and palpitations.
Other Precautions : 
*Avoid excess dosage.
Storage Conditions : 
Oral: Store it at room temperature (30°C).
