This medication is an H1-receptor antagonist, prescribed to prevent eye irritation caused by allergic conjunctivitis. It antagonizes actions of histamine at H1 receptors. It antagonizes actions of histamine at H1 receptors.
Ophthalmic- Instill one drop into each eye once daily.
It comes as eye drops, to instill into the affected eyes as directed by your physician.
• Caution should be exercised in patients with increased eye pressure, who are wearing contact lenses, children, during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
• Remove your contact lenses before using this medication.
• Avoid contamination of the dropper tip and solution. Care should be taken not to touch the eyelids or surrounding areas with the dropper tip of the bottle.
Irritation, burning and/or stinging upon instillation, redness in the eye, eye pruritus runny or stuffy nose, sore throat, flu symptoms; or headache.
Avoid excess dosage.
Store at 15-25°C.
