Indication To diagonise heart atttack, anemia, liver disease, tissue changes.
Physiology Present in all cells of the tissues especially heart, liver, lungs, kidney, red blood cells. It converts lactic acid to pyruvic acid an important step for production of energy.
Normal Range 45-90U/L.
Interpretation High values may be due to myocardial infarction, infectious mononucleosis, cell damage, trauma, muscle injury.
