I did have a right Pyloplasty when the procedure was new in 1989. I was the 5th person to have this procedure as at the time was very rare. I did have complications from the surgery but managed it through as had to have blood transfusion and also suffered a spinal leak. Still I managed to get home in 10 days after all of this and thanking the doctor who saved my life.

I live in the uk and had this done when I was 3 years old. I am now 23 and its really interesting to see what they actually did. Thank you to whoever made this!

My son is currently 13 y old. He underwent a right pyeloplasty when he was 2 y old. the doctor follow up his condition for one and half years after the surgery and states no need to follow up !!! Nine years later, this year 2010, after my son had a regular body check up, the doctor told me that my son right kidney has to remove due to severe hydronerosis !!!!

I had this done in 2005. Excellent painful but well worth it. Thank God for Robert Goodwin my surgeon. jo.
