How can Swollen Gums be treated ? |
|
Text
In case of swelling due to inflammation, good care of the teeth and the gums by proper and timely brushing and usage of mouth washes can reduce the swelling. If there is a large collection plaque or food debris, then professional help is required to remove the deposits which are firmly stuck to the teeth If swelling is due to drugs, stopping the drug will automatically cause a reduction of swelling In case of swelling due to general illness correction of the health problem usually results in an improvement If swelling is a tumor then surgical removal is the only answer. |

Posted on: 03/22/2009 My wife is 7 months pregnant and she has swollen teeth. We are not sure whether to go to a dentist or just sit on it during the pregnancy period. As the dental plan in Canada is not covered by the Government, the dentists in Canada tend to make a big deal out of nothing, as they get paid more. So we prefer not to go to the dentist if we do not have to. Can anyone suggest what we should do at this moment? |
